PerkinElmer Launches the Formation of its LABWORKS LIMS Public Sector Business Team

PerkinElmer, a global leader in comprehensive laboratory solutions, has announced the formation of a first-of-its kind Public Sector Business Development team for its award-winning LABWORKS LIMS solutions. The objective of this team is to focus on the unique requirements of government laboratories in their key segments.
“LABWORKS LIMS is the market leader in many key public sector segments, including agriculture, water quality, environmental, transportation, and other forms of public health” said Robert Hudson, Director for Enterprise Software Services and Sales. “The public sector represents a significant share of our installed base. They have some very unique requirements, ranging from analytical methods and reporting to their procurement processes. Our business in this sector is growing immensely, and we need to ensure that we continue to address their specific needs now and in the future.” Hudson cited the recent results of Strategic Direction International Inc’s 2007 LIMS marketing report, where PerkinElmer was rated by customer surveys as the leader in government and utilities customer satisfaction. Mr. Jerry Lominac has been named to lead Public Sector Business Development for LIMS. “Jerry has served the public sector laboratories for over 25 years in roles with both instrument and system’s vendors. His domain knowledge makes him the ideal fit for this role. We are excited about our public sector growth opportunity in the future under his leadership.” |
