Description
- Contractor to provide chemical analytical laboratory services for analysis of 1,4-dioxane, N-nitrosodimethlamine (NDMA), and perchlorate, and 1,2,3-trichlorpropane (1,2,3-TCP_, in filtered and unfiltered ground-water samples and quality controls samples for U. S. Geological Survey, California Water Science Center, Sacramento, CA. This work is part of the ongoing Ground Water Ambient Monitoring and Assessment (GAMA) program (http://ca.water.usgs.gov/gama/. The GAMA Program has established data-quality objectives (DQOs) that must be met to ensure that water-quality data can be used with confidence to assess quality ground-water resources in the State of California. USGS expects to submit as many as 10 to 100 samples per month. Samples will be collected by USGS primarily from public water-supply wells, at multiple locations throughout California.
