Description
This pre-solicitation notice, for a planned acquisition is to provide laboratory support services for testing the drinking water on the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). Base Environmental personnel are responsible for collecting samples on a monthly and quarterly basis as required by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environmental (CDPHE) and shipping/transporting to the supporting lab. This will be an non-personal service contract where the contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials and other items to provide the labortory support. A Firm-Fixed Price contract with estimated monthly quantities and firm unit prices is contemplated. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541380 and $11M, respectively. The performance period is one year from approximately 15 May 07 plus four one-year options that may be exercised unilaterally by the Government. Release of Request for Proposal (RFP) on FedBizOpps is anticipated on or about 26 Apr 07 with proposals due approximately 12 days after release.
The supporting lab must be Colorado State certified to perform the following tests:
Total tryhalomethanes, HAA5, Nitrate, Nitrite, Lead and Copper, Flouride, Volatile organic chemical, TSS, and TDS
