- The NTSB has a need for ‘on-call’ chemical and analytical testing support services to include chemical analysis of materials and evidence samples, failure analysis, laboratory experimentation, and expert opinions on results of these tests. Analysis and testing tasks might be performed on a wide range of samples and materials in the form(s) of fluids, residues, metals, fabrics, polymers and synthetic materials, and composites. These might include hazardous or dangerous materials.
