NAICS Code: 541380 EPA’s Office of research and Development (ORD) is soliciting proposals for technical support entitled Pharmacokinetic Laboratory Work for the Completion of the IRIS Toxicological Evaluation of Chloroethane. Specifically, the contractor will be supporting ORD by employing experimental procedures to acquire biochemical laboratory data for the in vitro human conjugation rates of CE and GSH and compare them with rodent rates. A new method is proposed in this acquisition to directly measure the biochemicalproduct S-ethyl glutathane (SEG which is first formed in a chloroethane elimination pathway of mice, rats, and humans.
