Prestigious Academic Medical Center Licenses LabVantage’s Sapphire™ For Its Research & Clinical Laboratory Operations
Bridgewater, NJ. January 31, 2007. LabVantage Solutions, Inc. today announced that a major academic medical center has chosen LabVantage’s Sapphire Laboratory Information Management Suite (LIMS) to serve as the core infrastructure for its research and clinical laboratories. The initial project relates to the medical center’s cardiovascular laboratories that provide blood tests for research and clinical trials, and develop new markers of cardiac risk and disease. In particular, they offer input on study protocols, prepare collection kits, coordinate sample collection, arrange logistics, manage specimen storage and data, and provide specimen analysis.
