Project Coordinator
Overview
A Project Coordinator is a proactive, performance-driven professional with expertise in pharmaceutical project management and planning. They must support projects from initiation through filing, approval, and launch.
Must have a keen understanding of business priorities. A results driven team player who is committed to managing projects, and keeping timelines while maintaining costs.
Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. This position will broaden ones knowledge of drug development by working with and supporting a global cross-functional organization by working closely with senior leaders, technical development groups, procurement, and quality.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to –
Plan, execute, and be on-time with delivery of projects, within budget and scope objectives. Acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members in order to deliver projects according to plan. Identify, effectively communicate, and resolve project issues and risks. Motivate team members, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for assigned work.
In this role the candidate will be responsible for providing continuous support to the Project Manager by being the point of contact for day-to-day internal problem solving and troubleshooting. Identify and resolve project issues and risks.
Responsible for managing various project components with all parties involved and to inform the stakeholders of progress, intermediate results, potential problems and suggest corrective actions.
Assist in project planning, reporting, follow up and effective internal and external communication across all departments, vendors and customers.
Preparation and maintenance of project specific documentation.
Performs other functions as required or assigned.
Complies with all company policies and standards.
Specific Jobs Include but not limited to:
Interactions with procurement group for API and Excipient supply as per project needs. In case of deficiency ensure proper communication with DMF holder and resolution. Order and Maintain records for purchased Items.
Procurement of RLDs and record keeping in support of the project.
Responsible for Clinical Supply Logistics and maintenance of records.
Work with Reg Affairs department for filing and submissions.
Work with other team members for a smooth coordination on RD & launch activities
Circulate well recorded minutes of the meeting, for every meeting.
Provide notification of milestone completions for billing to finance.
Follow up on assigned tasks and track timelines in support of Project Managers. Post documents as needed. Send follow-ups to clients as needed.

Qualifications
Position Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelors or advanced degree in Pharmaceutical Management or related, with a minimum of 1 -2 years pharmaceutical industry experience highly preferred.
Strong organizational skills along with experience supporting the execution of multiple projects of varying complexity.
Experience with Pharmaceutical R&D Processes, Project, Risk, Resource and Change Management, Vendor and Material Management and Negotiation preferred.
Good knowledge of Microsoft office, project management techniques, practices and principles.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
