Kalleid, Inc. is a boutique laboratory IT consulting firm that has served the scientific community since 2014. We work across the value chain in R&D, clinical and quality areas to deliver support services for software implementations in highly complex, multi-site organizations.
We are actively seeking a Project Manager who will lead and manage multiple, complex, global R&D IT projects/workstreams with significant business impact.

Position Summary:
The Project Manager will lead and manage multiple, complex, global R&D IT projects/workstreams with significant business impact. This role coordinates, supports, and assists all aspects of projects from original concept through the final implementation, ensuring governance process adherence, project continuity, and stakeholder management. The Project Manager will develop project budgets, be responsible for performance against financial parameters, monitor and report on projects, and drive business value by leveraging business/technology expertise to identify and prioritize solutions.
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of large, complex, cross-functional, and/or global IT projects or programs, including monitoring scope, milestones, dependencies, costs, and benefits through lifecycle.
- Develop project or program budgets. Responsible for performance against financial parameters, monitoring and reporting on projects or programs.
- Create project artifacts, such as project schedule, project plans, measures, team and stakeholder communications, status reports, resource, and time management.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, vendors and suppliers. Manage key stakeholder and project manager commitment levels and communication. Facilitate vendor and supplier evaluations.
- Ensure projects follow all company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
- Identify and highlight risks and issues within the project and escalate appropriately, for resolution. Devise effective mitigation and escalation strategies for projects to address risks and issues.
- Lead governance structures and processes to drive and manage the project. Manage implementation of project management methodology and governance tools. Drive projects through project governance methodology and ensure compliance to tollgates.
- Lead regular project and program reviews with stakeholders.
Required Skills/Attributes/Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of IT experience leading multiple large and complex projects, with bachelor’s degree, 10 years IT experience without bachelor’s degree
- Extensive experience with planning and managing all phases of system development (e.g., requirements gathering, design, configuration, development, COTS software selection, testing, conversion and application support)
- Domain knowledge of Pharma/Biotech R&D technologies, experience working in a regulated environment
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook)
- Expert skills in Microsoft Project and development of WBS (Work Breakdown Structure)
Preferred Education/Experience:
- PMP certification or degree in project management
- Experience with project management best practices defined in the PMBOK (Project management book of knowledge)
- Experience as a project manager for GxP validated platform implementations
- Understanding of SDLC
- Experience using agile-waterfall hybrid methodologies
- Experience as a project manager for lab informatics solution implementations (e.g., LIMS such as Labware LIMS/STARLIMS)
