Protocol Labacus Mobile Software for Lab and Clinic Announced

Wilmington, DE (PRWEB) October 18, 2011

Abacalab, Inc. is proud to announce its Protocol Labacus 1.0 software package for procedure tracking and data collection in mobile work environments. The package will enhance the quality of both data and work in labs, plants and clinics. The planned release date is October 26, 2011 and pre-orders are being accepted through the company website.

People who work in “out of the office” locations such as labs, plants and clinics will now have a better way to keep track of complex work procedures and make accurate records of what they do and see while they work. Protocol Labacus mobile software suite enables tablet computers to prompt users through Standard Operating Procedures and checklists step by step and record data on the spot. When a procedure is complete, the computer writes a report in a standard format to save copying drudge work and improve consistency. Version 1.0 will benefit researchers in biology and analytical chemistry the most, although Labacus has potential applications in many other fields.

Protocol Labacus 1.0 is a web-based suite that includes server and database software as well as both a tablet application for mobile work and a desktop application for planning and reporting in the office. It will be released on October 26, 2011 and is available now for pre-order through the Abacalab, Inc. website. The mobile application is compatible with most tablets including both iPad and Android, and the server software can be installed under Mac, and Windows operating systems.
