FORENSIC LABORATORY MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM – Competitive Sealed Proposals / Judgment required – PIN# 056050000403 – DUE 4-4-2008 AT 2:00 AM
The NYPD is soliciting for a turnkey, automated Forensic Laboratory Management Information System (LIMS), including Project Management and LIMS maintenance and support. The LIMS solicited would provide reliable and efficient recording and tracking of all criminal evidence received by the Laboratory, using bar code, fingerprint and/or radio frequency identification (RFID) technologies; and also provide for full automation of current workflow and information management for the Laboratory, and for future system expansion capability. The work to be performed will include the provision, furnishing, designing, developing, delivery,integration and/or installation of all software, hardware, expert LIMS information technology services, training and documentation, and related materials, equipment, supplies and maintenance and support necessary for provision of a turnkey, automated Forensic LIMS for the NYPD.
The contract resulting from this Request for Proposals (RFP) will be subject to Local Law 129 of 2005, the Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) Program, and Local Law 34 of 2007, the campaign finance reform law mandating a Doing Business With the City Database and Data Form from the contractor awarded.
