“The Maryland Department of Health/Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (MDH/OCME) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to procure and implement a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to ensure ongoing accreditation of the toxicology laboratory. A LIMS will allow OCME to produce and maintain the documentation required for International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC) 17025 accreditation, minimizing the impact of the new accreditation standards on turnaround time for toxicology analyses. In addition to ensuring accreditations, a LIMS will assist in developing and implementing strategies specifically intended to improve critical infrastructure within the OCME.”
