“The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (MD Anderson) is hereby contracting for laboratory services. The services are for analysis of mold, bacterial, United States Pharmacopeia (USP) 797, Asbestos, and Legionella samples. The samples are collected from air, water, and surfaces. Environmental Health and Safety, Sustainability and Emergency Management (EHSSEM) employees collect more than 5,000 samples per year in pharmacies, patient care areas, and throughout the water distribution systems to maintain a safe environment for our patients. All collected samples would be submitted to the laboratory, if necessary for analysis.”
