Cowlitz County, Washington “is hereby soliciting proposals to establish pricing materials testing services. Services will include various types of materials testing for County projects, including but not limited to roadway, water, sewer, solid waste, stormwater and parks.

The project will include but is not limited to testing services, often on short notice, related to construction material inspection, sampling, and field and accredited laboratory testing of various materials including but not limited to, soil aggregate, hot mix asphalt, and concrete in accordance with applicable state and federal guidelines and American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) specifications, as well as associated documentation and report writing. Services may also include some specialized inspections including structural metal welding, and material composition analysis.”
