The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers is seeking proposals for construction sample testing. “The JBE054 Extend Runway 16-34 project will consist of the extension of
Runway 16-34 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. The project will include the construction of a concrete and asphalt runway, parallel concrete taxiways, and ground improvements. Construction of the runway, taxiways and ground improvements and other miscellaneous aspects of the project will require soil and material testing. This contract is to perform material sampling and testing required to independently monitor the work for the duration of the project.”

“The Contractor must supply all labor, equipment and materials to perform the services described herein. The general scope of services to be provided must include, but not limited to, materials testing laboratory development to include equipment procurement, QA processes, QA manual, and successful lab validation by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC). Requirements for validation can be found at https://mtc.erdc.dren.mil. The scope also includes sampling and testing as directed by the Owner.”
