“The Regional Transportation District [of Denver, Colorado] is seeking a laboratory to provide drug testing services that must comply with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations 49CFR Part 40, as well as support the RTD drug and Alcohol Testing Policy.

The laboratory must be permitted to participate in DOT drug testing only if the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under the National Laboratory Certification Program (NLCP) certifies them for all testing required under 49CFR PART 40, as amended.”
