Research Scientist- Research Technologies- LCMS Bioanalysis Job in Seattle, WA – Novo Nordisk Inc.
PURPOSE:
Demonstrates scientific leadership through technical support to the target discovery program and peer leadership to their research team/group. A highly proficient scientific professional in bioanalytical assay development using LCMS measurement of drugs in biological samples from non-clinical studies to support obesity research projects.
RELATIONSHIP:
Reports to head of the Research Technologies Department. Internal relationships include working with research employees, project managers, as well as colleagues in Diabetes & Obesity Research at Novo Nordisk Inc., Novo Nordisk A/S, and Novo Nordisk Beijing. This person may serve as the company spokesperson for advanced programs or initiatives and should build strong collaborations between internal and external stakeholders. stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Establish and run bioanalytical LCMS assays to support projects
• Draft scientific reports and prepare presentation slides.
• Interpret and properly document experimental data.
• Day to day supervision of research personnel.
• Maintain scientific awareness and expertise through literature and attendance at relevant conferences
• Ensure scientific representation at external scientific meetings and conferences.
• Provide technical awareness, scientific strategic leadership, and ensure state-of-the-art competency within expertise area.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
