| Cal Poly, a campus of the California State University (CSU) system, is soliciting statements of qualifications firms qualified to perform geotechnical/materials testing and special inspections for the Poly Canyon Village project.
Poly Canyon Village is a Design-Build project, of approx. 945,000 sq. ft. and consists of apartment style units (2,677 beds) in 9 buildings, some with retail space; 2 four-story parking structures (capacity approx. 950 spaces each); underground utilities and high voltage installations. Project construction cost is $227,667,000. The project is phased: Phase 1, comprised of site work, construction of metal agricultural buildings, two parking structures and four apartment buildings will be completed in June 2008. Phase 2, comprised of 5 apartment buildings, will be completed in June 2009. Minimum qualifications for firm: Complete qualifications, scope of services and submittal requirements are contained in the Request for Qualifications.
