RURO Introduces New Version of Electronic Laboratory Notebook. Sciency ELN 3.5
Sciency 3.5 gives users a whole host of new features.
Frederick, MD – May 29, 2012 – RURO, Inc., a developer of research software and inventory solutions introduces a more robust lab notes system in Sciency 3.5. Here are the new Sciency ELN upgrades:
- A “discussion” section has been added to every project. This is a place users can leave feedback and ask questions.
- Sciency ELN can now be linked with the e-mail account. The system has the option to send automatic e-mails to the users informing them of a new activity in the “discussion” section of a particular project. The “discussion” feature is very similar to an Internet discussion thread – a tool that is common place in social media.
- Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel AddOn for Sciency ELN has been released. It allows for a seamless transfer of a documentation into a Sciency “note.” A user can also sign Sciency “note” preventing further editing.
