METTLER TOLEDO's laboratory sales organization is hiring a Sales Consultant with technology and applications expertise to support assigned sales representatives on their more complex sales opportunities, ultimately helping the region reach its revenue targets. As our Sales Consultant you will act as the technical expert to improve our win rate and provide training to our customers as needed in the San Francisco Bay Area.

You Have:
- Experience in UV-Vis and electrochemistry techniques
- Bachelor's degree in biology or a related science from a four-year college or university, preferably in the life sciences; or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Established yourself as a trusted expert in a related field by mastering product knowledge and differentiating from the competition.
- Developed and presented technical papers and other support documents internally, at professional organizations, and with prospects and customers.
- Excellent relationship-building skills to create trust with customers, METTLER TOLEDO sales and service teams.
You Can:
- Grow sales by increasing the overall technical expertise of our sales team throughout the selling process.
- Work with your assigned sales representatives to identify target accounts where we can differentiate, help develop those accounts and build value added programs.
- Analyze customer samples, provide product demonstrations, train others on our analytical chemistry products.
- Provide technical and application support to our sales people, inside sales and field service.
- Cover a regional territory with about 35% overnight travel.
