Sapio Sciences Announces Top 5 Pharma Licenses Exemplar LIMS

This initial implementation will serve as the core system in support of genetics research and development. In particular, this group performs extensive genetic association based studies utilizing thousands of markers and thousands of samples. Exemplar LIMS was chosen due to its ability to address every aspect of the research environment.
Exemplar LIMS BioBanking module with extensive plate management and inventory management capabilities addresses all related sample management concerns while aiding adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and maintaining compliance with electronic signing and auditing requirements as detailed in FDA CFP 11 Part 21. Key features to be utilized include: automated plate handling via straightforward wizards, printing and scanning of 1D and 2D barcodes and chain of custody tracking.
Exemplar’s built in reagent protocols for Illumina and Affymetrix platforms and extensive workflow management capabilities eliminate the need for paper tracking of lab procedures, facilitating a complete eLab Notebook environment. Other platform protocols and arrays are also tracked as well as replicate data.
