Sapphire C5 LIMS received acceptance from KiTH

Software Point and the product Sapphire C5 LIMS has as the first supplier received acceptance from KiTH in Norway for electronic microbiological reports according to the latest format KiTH v1.3., tells Kurt Erlandsson the Product Manager of C5 LIMS.

Nine different microbiological cases has been verified by KiTH. The system has earlier been approved for chemistry and immunological electronic reports based on KiTH standard. 
 

The new format will be used  this fall when Sapphire C5 LIMS will be integrated with the Electronic Patient Journal (EPJ) system DIPS at the microbiology department of Stavanger University hospital and the Tieto/ROS system at the bacteriological laboratory of Haugesund hospital. The integration with DIPS and ROS also includes a HL7 v3 solution of different web services calls for search and update of patient and person information in EPJ, regional and national registers. 

The modern and web based multidisciplinary product Sapphire C5 LIMS is continuously adapted by Software Point to new requirements and standards of a medical laboratory information system for the Nordic market. The adaption of the product is done in a close relationship with the customers and the official organizations that are represented in each country in the Nordic region.
