Scientific Software Releases New Proportional Voltage Program for EZChrom Elite™

Scientific Software, Inc. (SSI), a world leader in providing software solutions to the scientific community, announced today the release of a new optional software program to extend the versatility of EZChrom Elite in the laboratory – a software option that performs calculations based on proportionate voltage response.

Certain types of chemical analyzers (moisture analyzers, etc.) are used to analyze process streams for specific compounds. The voltage output of these analyzers is proportional to the concentration of the specific compound in the stream. The new optional Proportional Voltage Program provides an EZChrom analysis mode that determines the concentration of a compound on the basis of its voltage at user-specified time in an analysis.   This optional software uses EZChrom as the data collection/analysis/reporting system for chemical analyzer where the detector voltage is proportional to the concentration of a compound of interest.

The Proportional Voltage Program requires SSI’s analog to digital converter, the SS420x, to collect the voltage output from the device.   The new software program can operate on EZChrom Elite version 3.1.4 or later, and is available on EZStart, EZChrom Elite Stand-Alone Workstation, or EZChrom Elite Client/Server.
