SLAS2015 Welcomes Nearly 4,700 to Washington DC

SLAS welcomed 4,695 participants from 34 countries to SLAS2015, the Fourth Annual SLAS Conference and Exhibition, held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC, Feb. 7-11, 2015. This select and diverse collection of scientists, academicians, business leaders and students from around the globe benefitted from an extensive lineup of education, new production information, and opportunities to connect with peers interested in charting the future of laboratory science and technology.

Student Poster Awards

New Product Awards
296 companies participated in the SLAS2015 Exhibition, 61 of which submitted new products to be considered for the SLAS2015 New Product Award. The winners included:

2015 SLAS Innovation Award
10 podium presentations were selected as finalists for the 2015 SLAS Innovation Award. The final round of judging took place during SLAS2015, when all presentations were evaluated based on a specific set of criteria. Following deliberations at the conference, Jonathan Wingfield, AstraZeneca, Cambridge, United Kingdom was selected as the 2015 SLAS Innovation Award Winner for his presentation, Novel Acoustic Loading of a Mass Spectrometer — Towards Next Generation High Throughput MS Screening. This presentation will be available as an on demand webinar in the coming weeks.

SLAS2016

SLAS2016, the Fifth Annual SLAS International Conference and Exhibition, will be held January 23-27 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA, USA. Short Courses will take place Saturday-Sunday, Jan. 23-24; the Exhibition and Conference will run Monday-Wednesday, Jan. 25-27.
