This is a sources sought notice to determine the availability of potential small businesses (e.g., 8(a), service-disabled veteran owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, veteran-owned small business, and women-owned small business) in accordance with FAR 7.104(d). The potential small business will need to demonstrate the ability to provide a Commercial of the Shelf (COTS) product to manage a DNA sequencing core lab. The software will need to initiate sequencing requests through a customer interface, track these requests through laboratory workflows, provide protocols and instrument interfaces with the Roche454 GL FLX+ , Illumina GA-IIx, MiSEQ, and HiSEQ 2500, Ion Torrent PGM, ABI 3730, and the Pacific Biosciences RSII sequencing instruments, and provide a means for delivery of sequence analysis results back to the customer.
