Holmdel, NJ – January 6, 2004- Sparta Systems, Inc., the market leader in enterprise Quality Management Systems (QMS), and makers of TrackWise® Quality Management Systems software, and Open Text™ Corporation (Nasdaq: OTEX, TSX: OTC), provider of Livelink®, the leading collaboration and content management software for the global enterprise, announced today the integration of Livelink and TrackWise, to give pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device customers a flexible integrated solution to manage quality issues and related documentation in the drug and device testing, development, and manufacturing processes.

The TrackWise/Livelink integration ties together all documentation and other content associated with specific quality issues — CAPA, change control, audits — being managed and tracked. The integration enables customers to perform many Livelink electronic document management functions, such as check in and out, version control and content search, directly from the TrackWise interface. With this partnership and product integration, organizations will benefit from the robust architecture and years of experience of Sparta Systems and Open Text.
