Sr. Brand Manager, Ophthalmics (Glaucoma)

Requirements:
Reports to Sr. Director, Marketing
For the Ophthalmic-Glaucoma Rx portfolio, responsible for leading all marketing activities including: launch/brand plans, market research, brand creation, all brand strategies and tactics, and peer to peer initiatives
Support key business functions in the Glaucoma Ophthalmic Rx portfolio (e.g. sample strategy, coupon strategy and execution, speaker programs etc.)
Overseeing effectiveness of programs and initiatives including success tracking criteria. Track and share successes and best practices.
Identifying and turning consumer/brand insights into actionable programs that have a beneficial impact on the growth of the business.
Build collaborative relationships with key internal partners (sales, analytics, operations, medical)
Build strong relationships with key customers
Accountable for ensuring brands meet or exceed annual revenue and unit forecasts
Manages brand budget to ensure maximum ROI for investments, and that annual budgets are not exceeded
Understands market landscape for categories we compete in, and supports internal competitive intelligence activities/war games etc.
Supports brand forecasting process and coordinates supply needs with supply chain team for Ophthalmic Glaucoma brands.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
This individual must have a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3-5 years pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
The individual should have proven skills in the following: brand marketing, market and competitive analysis, marketing program development, project planning and management, managing financial information required.
Experience in the Ophthalmic space is highly desirable.
Individual must have the ability to work in cross-functional team-based culture Strong interdependent partnerships, collaboration, influence & negotiation skills are required.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong passion for creating iconic and disruptive brands. Must have exceptional, oral and written communication skills, and be well versed in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel etc.)
