We are looking for a Senior Software Developer – Laboratory Information Systems who will configure, customize and system admin the information systems supporting the Regeneron Genetics Center's ultra-high-throughput next-generation sequencing lab. Sapio LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) and TIBCO Spotfire (data visualization) are the principal systems supported.
You will also handle the data processing, engineering, and analytics that extract useful insights from the laboratory data.
In this role, a typical day might include performing the following:
- Oversee high-fidelity tracking of all samples and data created in all sample processing workflows; verify data quality.
- Develop Sapio LIMS workflows and plugins to enable laboratory process tracking and efficient integration with liquid handlers, automated storage (biobanks), QC analysis, sequencers, and automated lab instrument platforms.
- Design dashboards and data visualizations for monitoring day-to-day sample tracking, quality control, and laboratory performance.
- Develop extract-transform-load procedures for data processing and visualization.
- Provide system support for laboratory R&D specialists
- Gather requirements for system enhancements and support user acceptance testing
- Verify data quality and perform laboratory data entry
- Support compliance and continuous improvement in all functions. Write technical documents as required.
