Stone Bond Technologies Accelerates 2004 Delivery of Integration Solutions

Stone Bond Technologies, LP, finished 2004 on a strong note by adding Vetco Gray and Fisher Controls, a division of Emerson Process Management, to its growing list of oil and gas clients. Stone Bond also expanded its life sciences implementations to three Baylor College of Medicine laboratories, DermSurgery Associates, and Medical Advocacy Services for Healthcare (MASH). These new customers accounted for a portion of the 20 percent revenue growth, year-on-year, as the firm solidified its position as a leading provider of integration and process automation solutions.

Stone Bond’s Enterprise Enabler(TM) for PIDX (EE-PIDX(TM)) solution is available today and includes a growing library of trading partner-specific, pre-built business process templates that significantly reduce deployment time and cost. EE-PIDX complies with the Petroleum Industry Data Exchange (PIDX) standard.

“Stone Bond helped us to avoid the high costs and slow implementation of other solutions, while it tightly adapted EE-PIDX to Vetco Gray’s specific requirements, and to those of our business partner,” said Paul Krueger, CIO for Vetco Gray. “The system was so easy to setup that we will begin using it to automate the invoicing from our own suppliers.”

Bio-IT World magazine named the Baylor College of Medicine Microarray Core Facility as the Grand Prize winner of its annual Best Practices awards for 2004, recognizing the lab’s process automation system that employs Stone Bond’s Enterprise Enabler(TM). Three separate Baylor College of Medicine laboratories now use Stone Bond’s Enterprise Enabler – Laboratory Information Management System (EE-LIMS(TM)) to automate and streamline their processes: Department of Tissue Culture Core (TCC), Microarray Core Facility, and Molecular and Cellular Biology. Other key wins in life sciences for 2004 included DermSurgery Associates of Houston and MASH of Ft. Worth. Both utilize Stone Bond’s Enterprise Enabler to automate and synchronize the entry and processing of patient data across multiple databases.

“As data moves through different systems, we are now certain that it will maintain its original integrity,” said Leonard H. Goldberg, M.D., F.R.C.P., a world-renowned dermatologic surgeon at DermSurgery Associates. “This gives researchers the confidence to use multiple points of reference when doing scientific research.”

“Stone Bond is changing integration options for companies of all sizes with its Enterprise Enabler(TM),” said Antonio Szabo, CEO and founder of Stone Bond Technologies, LP. “Our highly adaptable architecture makes it easy to configure with any existing technology. Enterprise Enabler provides our customers with a very affordable, dynamic system that stays current and accurate.”

As to the outlook for 2005, Szabo stated, “With such a strong performance in Q4 2004, we are well positioned to capture major market share in both the energy and life sciences industries. And, as such, we are rapidly accelerating our hiring throughout early 2005 in our sales, marketing and professional services divisions. 2005 looks to be an exciting year for Stone Bond.”
