Synthematix Announces Major New Release of Arthur Suite™

Synthematix Inc., the leading supplier of electronic laboratory notebooks for chemistry, announced today the release of its next generation of chem-informatics software for reaction planning and archiving, Arthur Suite™ Version 3.0.

“Synthematix is focused on providing unparalleled workflow integration for chemists,” said Steve Jones, CEO of Synthematix. “Arthur 3.0 incorporates new tools for integration with third party applications and databases, such as corporate registry solutions and a variety of internal and public chemical substance databases.” Synthematix’s continuing vision for the Arthur Suite™ is to empower chemists by increasing their access to crucial chemistry knowledge and tools.

“Our goal is to allow chemists maximum access to their own internal information, as well as publicly available data for both substances and reactions,” said Jones. “Arthur Suite™ Version 3.0 now provides new tools for integrating with other enterprise applications from leading chem-informatics suppliers such as ACD/Labs, Accelrys®, CEM, MDL® and others.”

In addition to the integration features and a host of other enhancements, Arthur Suite™ Version 3.0 includes new capabilities in support of combinatorial chemistry. “Effective planning and management of parallel chemistry experiments is imperative to today’s leading chemists.”

Synthematix has begun to deploy its latest release to leading companies that have been involved in its development and testing. Demonstrations are planned in August at IBC’s 9th Annual World Congress on Drug Discovery Technology in Boston and the American Chemical Society Fall National Exposition in Philadelphia.
