Taratec Names John H. Freeman as Chief Operating Officer
Taratec, a leading life science consultancy that provides integrated business, information technology, and regulatory compliance services, announced today the appointment of John H. Freeman as Chief Operating Officer.
Freeman comes to Taratec after 30 years at IBM, where he held positions of increasing responsibility in sales, marketing, and operations management, working extensively with pharmaceutical and medical device clients. For the past 10 years, as the executive in charge of IBM’s Worldwide Pharmaceutical Segment, John was responsible for sales to global pharmaceutical companies. In this position, John was successful in driving revenue growth and transforming the segment into an integrated services, hardware, and software business.

Freeman holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in computer science from Pennsylvania State University. He is married with two children, and is a resident of Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
