Teranode Provides Dynamic Batching to Optimize Lab Resources with Latest Release of TERANODE XDA
Teranode Corporation, the leading innovator of experiment design automation (XDA) software for the Life Sciences industry, today announced the release of TERANODE XDA 2.8, the latest version of the company’s award-winning informatics platform and the industry’s first model-driven platform to transform experiment designs into automation without the need for programming. TERANODE XDA 2.8 enables machines’ utilization and process throughput to be optimized by dynamically processing samples and compounds from multiple projects as one batch.

The new release of TERANODE XDA gives R&D professionals the ability for project-level tracking and reporting of experiment results even if plates, stacks, or racks of a project are split into multiple batches or combined with other projects for on-demand optimization of lab resources.
TERANODE XDA 2.8 includes:
- Batch Builder – The Batch Builder feature gives lab personnel the ability to combine plates, stacks, and racks across projects into batches for optimal equipment utilization.
- JAAS Support – TERANODE XDA 2.8 incorporates JAAS support, allowing user authentication and sign-off to leverage existing enterprise security systems.
- Lab Configuration Management – Centralized configuration management gives administrators the ability to deploy and customize on a centralized server.
- Shortcuts – The new TERANODE XDA release provides shortcuts that allow users to bookmark and access experiments stored in a TERANODE Model Server.
- Usability Enhancements – TERANODE XDA 2.8 also includes several user enhancements such as table data entry, number formatting, query builder, and auto scrolling.
