Koch, the Laboratory Director, accredited by the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors – Laboratory Accreditation Board (ASCLD/LAB) in December 2006.
ASCLD/LAB inspectors conducted on-site review of the crime laboratory’s standard operating procedures, documentation, qualifications of laboratory staff, and the equipment used to test samples. The Crime Laboratory Division of the Baltimore City Police Department is one of the 327 crime laboratories accredited by ASCLD/LAB as of January 29, 2007.
