Thermo Fisher Scientific Presents New Workflow Solutions at LabAutomation 2007

Palm Springs, Calif.   • Thermo Scientific Cell Growth and Discovery (CGD) WorkCellâ„¢: Featuring the Cellomics ArrayScan imager, this automated cell culture solution is the first preconfigured system to offer image analysis technology. It is designed for high-capacity cell growth, supply and in-line image analysis.
  • Thermo Scientific MaX WorkCellâ„¢: The MaX WorkCell incorporates best-in-class instrumentation to automate all plate preparation steps, including screen making, drop setting and plate sealing. As part of the Thermo Scientific Rhombixâ„¢ protein crystallization product series, the MaX WorkCell is the only all-inclusive plate preparation system available to customers today.

On display will be a number of additional technologies from Thermo Fisher Scientific, most notably, the Thermo Scientific Matrix® PlateMate automated liquid-handler. This system can be easily integrated into other robotic systems, including the Thermo Scientific CataLyst Express robot.
