TrackWise Quality Management Solution Implemented at BioReliance
HOLMDEL, N.J., Jan. 2 /PRNewswire/ — Sparta Systems, Inc. (Sparta), the maker of TrackWise(R), and the market leader in enterprise quality and compliance management software announce that BioReliance, a leading contract services organization for the biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industries, deployed TrackWise to handle key quality management activities.
As a result of the divestiture of BioReliance from Invitrogen Corporation, the current Invitrogen system — used for Deviations, Non-conformance Reports (NCR), Corrective & Preventative Actions (CAPA), and Audits — will be replaced by a discrete, BioReliance-developed TrackWise system to become the global BioReliance Quality Management System (QMS). After extensive evaluations, TrackWise was selected due to the flexibility of the solution and ability to be configured to meet all of BioReliance’s needs without the need for any customization. It is anticipated that this will help BioReliance reduce the validation burden and the implementation time. TrackWise will be initially deployed to handle Deviations, NCR, CAPA, Audits and Complaints. However, the solution was also chosen for its scalability for future use without the need to purchase additional software modules. Phase two of the TrackWise deployment is scheduled for 2008 and this will include Document Management and Training Management.
