Trilogy launches TAPS V.3
Version 3 is specifically developed to widen the use of TAPS from Trilogy’s traditional customer base of water utilities to include environmental consultants, waste management companies, mining companies and enforcement agencies
To achieve this Trilogy needed to make a number of enhancements which has resulted in the new release.
Two primary enhancements have been made to make TAPS suitable for the wider market. Firstly, the product had to be suitable for “site” centric operations. Secondly, there was a need to be able to import new sites, locations and analysis easily and be able to set up new projects speedily.
New features include:
- Excel import facility for sites / locations and determinands / bottles and analysis suites (MAG)
- Location cloning allows you to set up the plan for one location and clone it to all similar locations in the site (or in multiple sites) with the option to synchronize the collections.
- Export of scheduled samples in a digital file to allow a contract laboratory to pre-register expected samples
- Import of result data from the laboratory for completeness checking or export to EQuIS
- Customers, Job numbers and contract prices attached to plans to allow for accurate invoicing
- New calendar views to allow the plan to be graphically viewed by customer, site, sampler, date range, analysis, zone…plus many more options. Allows immediate view of any missing samples and status.
- Workflow Manager to allow for workflow processes and easy navigation
- New mapping and routing optimization to allow for sampler route maps and estimate of sampler workload
- Sample crating options
- New statistics display showing the state of the plan
- New field result data entry
- Enhanced roles and privileges for users
- Enhanced query facility to identify any collection or group of collections
- Many new reports including chain of custody
- Plus many other features
Version 3 can now be used for a wider range of industries while retaining all the functionality required for the sampling program of the world’s water utilities.
