Upgraded Empower to LIMS Interface Reduces Time for Setup, Validation and Support
December 13, 2007 (Guelph Ontario) – Labtronics Inc. is pleased to announce that the upcoming new release of LimsLink CDS will include an update to their seamless, embedded LIMS interface that allows analysts to interact directly with their LIMS, from inside their Empower client.
The new release extends the functionality of the Empower interface to further reduce the amount of time and resources that laboratories spend on setting up Sample Set Methods.

** Existing Sample Sets can be used as templates for automatically creating new ones.
** Samples can be automatically inserted into existing Sample Sets.
** CDS fields can be automatically populated with default values.
** Enhancements to vial auto-numbering capabilities adds flexibility to setup of samples, control samples and standards.
Enhancements have also been introduced to simplify sharing of LimsLink CDS interfacing methods across multiple Empower Projects. As a result, laboratories will be able to minimize the number of LimsLink CDS interfacing methods they use and therefore reduce validation and support requirements.
The upgraded LimsLinkCDS embedded interface for Empower is part of the upcoming LimsLink CDS release that also includes a new embedded interface for Chromeleon and Labtronics’ popular embedded interfaces for ChemStation, and TotalChrom.
