VelQuest Announces Expanded Global Site Deployments for Existing Users
VelQuest’s SmartLab™ GMP Laboratory Execution System (LES) and ELN further deployed by existing single site users based on rapid initial success in 2008. These new multi-site installations create an integrated global cGMP IT infrastructure for their analytical and quality operations.

These pharmaceutical, generic and biotech companies initially piloted the SmartLab platform in an effort to automate QC lab workflows and link the data and metadata to their LIMS project. After realizing the 25%+ productivity improvements and 50-75% cycle time reductions, they are now rolling-out the system to multiple production sites on a global basis. Some decided to eliminate their LIMS technology altogether and link the SmartLab System directly to their ERP system, or run their product quality and release operations on SmartLab only.
