VelQuest Corporation Announces the Sixth Annual IMACS Conference
International Meeting on Automated Compliance Systems – April 22, 2009 in Dublin, Ireland
VelQuest Corporation is pleased to organize and co-sponsor the 6th annual IMACS conference. IMACS provides a forum to detail automated compliance and productivity solutions for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and contract research/manufacturing organizations GMP development and QC/QA laboratory environments. The IMACS 2009 organizing committee is inviting industry speakers with topics including:
• paperless lab initiatives
• QC/QA e-notebooks
• lean manufacturing and global 21st Century cGMP harmonization issues
• integration of cGMP IT systems
• automated lab execution systems
• process batch record automation
Presentations will discuss the roles and perspectives of laboratory analysts, lab management, IT, QA and executive management involved in late stage development, stability, clinical supply release, in-process and final product QC/QA.
The IMACS 2009 agenda includes strategic global deployment initiatives by several top 20 pharmaceutical companies as well as case studies by CRO’s and international plant operation deployments at pharma and generic companies. The case studies detail significant cost and cycle time metrics obtained by going paperless in quality operations.

The 2009 program is limited to one day to ensure quality content and make it as convenient as possible to attend. In addition to the podium presentations, keynote presentations and a full panel discussion will be given. The day prior to the IMACS conference (Tuesday, April 21), an IMACS Technology Sponsors Workshop will take place from 1 pm to 5 pm for those IMACS attendees that would like a technical briefing on the systems that will be discussed during Wednesday’s agenda. A reception and IMACS dinner gala will follow the Tuesday’s workshop.
