“PFAS – also known as ‘forever chemicals’ – form a huge chemical group with more than 4,700 registered compounds plus associated degradation products.

Despite their ubiquitous presence in the environment and organisms, there is a lack of reference standards, molecular databases or spectral libraries. The low concentrations of PFAS in complex matrices and the presence of multiple isomers further complicate the PFAS analysis.

In this webinar, our expert speaker will introduce a novel workflow based on trapped ion mobility spectrometry (TIMS) for automated PFAS screening and identification against comprehensive suspect lists of almost 5,000 entries from the Norman network and NIST.”
