Werum Software & Systems: New Subsidiary established in France
LUENEBURG, Germany & TOULOUSE, France–(BUSINESS WIRE)–On October 1st, German software provider Werum Software & Systems AG officially opened its new subsidiary Werum Software & Systems SAS in France. The new office is located in Toulouse. Werum is the international leading supplier of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical production of medical drugs. Its MES product PAS-X, which is successfully running in more than 450 projects, is installed at 16 of the world’s 30 leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
“Our goal in setting up a company in France is to open up one of the biggest pharmaceutical markets in Europe,” Werum Executive Board Member Hans-Peter Subel says. “Through Werum France, we hope to expand our local presence and get closer to the market and the customer. At the beginning of this year, Werum opened two other new subsidiaries, one in Japan and one in Singapore. There are now nine Werum locations worldwide employing a total of 360 people.
