Winners of 2004 Life Science Industry Awards
Nearly 200 life science executives gathered Monday night at the Renaissance Washington, D.C. Hotel for the Life Science Industry Awards, which were presented by Ira Flatow, host and Executive Producer of National Public Radio’s Science Friday.
Developed by The Scientist, along with leading market research firm BioInformatics, LLC www.gene2drug.com , these prestigious awards are determined by the industry’s own customers — scientists. “Our company was founded on the simple premise that by facilitating better communication between life science suppliers and scientists, we create a win-win situation for all involved,” said Bill Kelly, President of BioInformatics, LLC, the firm that conducted the survey. “The scientists who participated in the voting, and the larger market they represent, know their suppliers make an important contribution to the advancement of science. These awards publicly recognize these contributions and set the standard for other companies that aspire to be ‘best-in-class’.”
