Implementation Engineer
LabLynx, a leader in Laboratory Information Management Solutions, is seeking to add a talented lab professional to our highly successful LIMS implementation software team. The ideal candidate will provide advanced technical advice to support a variety of post-sales activities, including implementation, testing, integration, and maintenance of our flagship software.
Responsibilities
- Performs advanced troubleshooting during the installation process through the post go-live period to ensure that the IT solutions are fully functional and utilized as planned.
- Designs, gains agreement, and communicates professional project plans for customer implementations which confirm with Lab Lynx policies and procedures. Directs and coordinates activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and meets specified project performance parameters.
- Responsible for administrative requirements including expensing, project reports, documentation, status reports, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Participates in the review of requirements for new product development.
- Provide expert technical advice to internal resources and customers, in the implementation of Roche solutions and investigation and resolution of complex issues.
- Facilitate customer facing communications related to implementation projects
- Management of competing work demands required by management and clients
- Successfully document client issues, questions, and resolutions in our knowledgebase software
- Manages assigned projects and implementations through completion
- Prepare for implementations through client interaction and database management
- Implementation and training of company software and additional product features
- Provide internal support for all products and assist various departments
- Diagnose all root causes to recommend required actions and assist to define and classify all issues and projects to avoid reoccurrence of issues and prepare automation responses if required
- Follows written and verbal directions efficiently
- Provides complex application support and guidance to end users
- Quickly assess problems and identify resolutions
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in a health, science, or business field, or an equivalent level of professional experience strongly preferred.
- Medical technician certification or equivalent lab experience strongly preferred.
