REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)

Washington State Department of Ecology (ECOLOGY) is considering issuing a competitive solicitation [e.g., Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotation and Qualifications (RFQQ), etc.] in the upcoming months to obtain a software system.
If ECOLOGY does a solicitation, ECOLOGY will post it on the Department of General Administration’s online bid notification and posting system (WEBS), as well as the ECOLOGY Website. Please register your firm with the Department of General Administration WEBS program for commodity numbers 9276 (Client/Server) and 9278 (Web Based Development), if you are interested in bidding on this project.
The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to establish requirements and develop a software system to be used by ECOLOGY Environmental Assessment Program staff custom development features to integrate with existing systems.
Responses to this RFI will help us:
Decide whether to issue a solicitation,
Determine the scope of work, and
Create a distribution list an RFP or RFQQ.
