AACC Announces Conference on Contemporary Issues In Clinical TDM/Toxicology
Washington, DC, March 1, 2011 The American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) announces a 1-day conference on Contemporary Issues in Clinical Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) & Toxicology to be held on April 29, 2011 at the Sheraton Gateway Suites O’Hare in Rosemont, IL.
The conference will consist of two sessions in the morning, Current State of Laboratory Support for Clinical TDM & Toxicology and Emerging Applications of Clinical TDM/Toxicology: Pain Management, and two in the afternoon, Advances in Traditional Applications of Clinical TDM/Tox and What’s Next in Clinical TDM & Toxicology? The expert faculty for this conference will discuss issues including the current state of laboratory support for TDM/Toxicology, its role in pain management, analytical techniques used in today’s clinical TDM/Toxicology lab, emerging issues in TDM, and more. The conference will examine why a new definition of TDM must include compliance testing, and conference attendees will have the chance to participate in roundtables and extended Q&A sessions.
