University of Queensland (UQ) is a public research university primarily located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Other UQ campuses and facilities are located throughout Queensland, the largest of which are the Gatton campus and the Herston medical school. It also has an international presence in the state of Louisiana, United States. The university is organized into five faculties and nine institutes.[1] The university enrolled more than 38,500 students, and it ranked 52 among the world's universities, with several of its programs raning top-25 according to U.S. News & World Report's 2016 rankings.[2]
