COMPREHENSIVE GENETIC SERVICES

 

The Department of Human Services is seeking proposals from qualified agencies that together will develop a statewide system of comprehensive genetic services for individuals and families in Maine.  This is an initiative of the Genetics Program, Division of Family Health, Bureau of Health.  Up to approximately $400,000 is available per year for one or more grants to support comprehensive genetics services to assure access statewide.  Initial grant period will be 2 years 10 months, starting September 1, 2004 and ending June 30, 2007. An Informational Meeting for prospective bidders will be held at Key Plaza, 486 Water St, Augusta, 8th  floor Conference Room on May 25 at 1:30PM local time.  Written questions may be submitted at the above address or fax by June 7, 2004.  Letters of Intent to Bid are required.  They are due on or before June 25, 2004, 4:00 p.m. local time to Ellie Mulcahy at the above address or fax.  

 

Completed proposals are due on July 26, 2004 before 2:00 p.m. local time.
