Brief Description
The US Air Force is seeking partnerships with research laboratories capable of developing forensic laboratory analysis techniques and handling classified data for research and development purposes. Competitive laboratories shall have expertise in and be able to direct efforts toward the research and development of techniques in one or more of the following areas: 1) The production of repeatable high quality results from identification from trace environmental sources. 2) The recovery and culture of bacteriological organisms from trace environmental sources. 3) Aerosol sampler simulation test facilities and/or experience in wind tunnel operation, environmental chamber operation, and/or computer modeling capabilities. Prospective firms are encouraged to submit a capability summary that does not exceed 3 pages in length describing the firm?s expertise and related experience in meeting the requirements stated above.
